6 Important things an Entrepreneur should always keep in mind

Entrepreneurship is a journey of a lifetime.  It needs a lot of courage and hard work to start something new. It is a process in which a person try many different things makes mistakes learns from the mistakes, faces failures but still goes on to achieve his/her goal. This entire process of learnings, failures and success needs extreme patience and determination. A young entrepreneur should keep some important things in mind before he/she starts off his/her entrepreneurial journey.

1. Proper Documentation: Every person who has got an idea should document it in the form of a business plan which can be used to approach angel investors and various other platforms. A proper deck of slides gives a complete overview of the idea with the future potential which helps in understanding the idea in a better way and it also helps in thorough study of the pros and cons which will be helpful in shaping the idea in much better way.

     2. Build a good team: Some people think that they have the idea so they only can implement it without any team, which is in fact not true. A team is one of the most important prerequisite to start something new. So it is the first job of an entrepreneur to find dedicated people who are able to see the same vision and mission. Keeping a mix of people from different fields like Finance, Marketing, IT etc. is a much better option and increases the chances of proper implementation of all strategies.

3. Plan all the activities on weekly basis: Always make an action plan on weekly basis so that it is always easy to review the work and it also helps in proper documentation of whatever work is being done. Also define roles and responsibilities of each team member very specifically so that there is no ambiguity in understanding what work is to be done by whom.

4. Keep an eye on your competitor: Always be aware of what your competitors are doing. It is an important aspect which can help you stay ahead in the race. So every activity of the competitor should be kept in mind.

5.  Have Patience: Rome was not built in a day. So Patience is the key to the success in an entrepreneurial journey. You will fail, will feel demotivated but patience and determination will take you to your goal, apart from that motivating all the team members to go ahead is also the job of every team member.

6. Money for daily expenses: This is one of the most common reason due to which many young entrepreneurs kill their dreams and give up. So arranging the daily expenses for at least the next one or one and half year is the most important thing to keep the entire team motivated to achieve their goals and do best in whatever they are doing. Some over passionate entrepreneurs ignore this critical aspect and at the end they fall in no man’s land and have to quit their dream project.

E-Commerce in the coming Era...

E-Commerce which stands for Electronic Commerce is a synonym of Comfort. In today's time every individual is looking for convenience and E-Commerce is a tool which is providing them complete convenience at a reasonable price. It is spreading it's wings in India very fast whether it is booking a ticket for Railways, Flights or a Movie. But still this sector is not completely explored in India as there are many things which can come online. At present 80% of the E-Commerce business in India is dominated by tourism sector which shows that there is immense scope for other sectors.

So the wide scope of E-Commerce represents golden opportunities for the young entrepreneurs who want to be a part of the success story of E-Commerce in India. Some other unexplored sectors or less explored sectors include online room booking in hotels, Online cabs, food ordering, niche products for online retail etc.

So I wish good luck for all the budding entrepreneurs and youngsters who wish to be a part of the success story of "E-Commerce" which will change India's face in future.

Thanks
